Kozuka

Kozuka is the handle of the samurai's utility knife.  A kogatana (small blade) will fit into the kozuka.  Not all sword setups have one, but when there, there will be a pocket in the saya where the kozuka sits.  Tsuba have slots where the kozuka also will go through.
